1. Deposit Policy
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking an art retreat.
For a single private room, the full retreat price is €2300, therefore the deposit amount is €690.
The deposit:
- becomes non-refundable once the retreat is confirmed, and
is refundable only if Lorant Art Studio does not confirm the retreat (i.e., if the minimum number of participants is not reached).
2. Retreat Confirmation
The retreat will be considered confirmed once a minimum of 6 participants have registered. Lorant Art Studio will send the final confirmation of the retreat no later than April 12th, 2026.
Upon confirmation:
- participants will receive a confirmation email, and
- an invoice for the remaining 70% of the retreat fee will be issued.
The invoice will be sent to the email address provided at booking (or to an updated address supplied later by the participant).
The remaining balance must be paid within 7 days from the date the invoice is issued.
3. Participant Cancellation or Non-Payment
If a participant:
- cancels their booking after the retreat has been confirmed, or
- fails to pay the remaining balance within the required 7-day payment period,
then:
- the booking will be cancelled,
- the deposit will be forfeited, and
- no refund of any kind will be issued.
The reserved place may be reallocated to another participant.
4. Cancellation by Lorant Art Studio
If Lorant Art Studio cancels a retreat for any reason — including if the minimum number of participants is not reached — all deposits paid will be refunded in full within 10 business days from the date of the cancellation notice.
Lorant Art Studio does not accept responsibility for, and will not compensate for, any additional costs incurred by participants due to cancellation, including but not limited to:
- flight tickets,
- accommodation,
- insurance,
- transportation, or
- any other related expenses.
